Under eye hollowing is often referred to as tear troughs. This is a depression under your eyes which may be genetic and present from a young age or it may appear with time. .

WHY DOES IT HAPPEN?

The area under eye is the most delicate and unforgiving in the face. The skin is very thin with very little fat. In some patients, this means that the tissues underneath are visable making the aeaa darker. Over time we lose volume and collagen in this area which further contributes to this problem.

  • Please be aware, if you are intending to have antiwrinkle treatment, Lumi Eyes would need to be performed a minimum of 7 days prior.

    If you have had antiwrinkle treatment, then you must wait 14 days to have Lumi Eyes.

  • We recommeded not wearing makeup for at least 24 hours.

    Wear SPF 30 or higher every day for at least two weeks.

    Avoid sunbeds, direct heat and swimming pools for 7 days.

    Avoid vigorous exercise for 7 days.

    Avoid facials, dermaplaning, peels, laser treatments and other facial treatments for a minimum of 2 weeks after treatment.

    Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before and after treatment.

    Keep the area clean and avoid touching it.

  • Lumi Eyes moisturises as well as smooths the skin under the eyes. It also has a rejuvenating effect – stimulation of the skin cells, collagen and elastin allows to delay the ageing processes and strengthens the skin.

    There may be some redness, swelling and bruising after the treatment. A brightening effect can be seen shortly afterwards but results will vary from person to person.

  • There is little to no downtime after a Lumi Eyes mesotherapy treatment. You may experience some mild swelling, redness, or bruising around the injection site, but this usually subsides within a few hours to a few days.

    You can resume your normal activities immediately after the treatment.
